With the release of the latest iPhone4 – let’s think thru their numbers for a moment:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-      5 Billion APPS downloaded&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-      Generating $1B for developers&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-      iPhones control over 58% of the mobile browsing market (with Android – their closest competitor only having under 23%)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-      Over 3 Million iPads have been sold (1 Million more than estimates – and those estimates were for the ‘year’)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I had the honor of knowing the late Randy Pausch (author of “The Last Lecture” – 11 Million plus views on YouTube) – and about 2 months after Randy’s death – I had the pleasure of going to a ‘Grade School Open House’ with my 8 year old son Morgan.  Morgan was showing me around and he showed me some ‘programming’ he was doing – that was producing full-animation.  Morgan was working with ‘Alice’ (an animation development toolkit that allows young people to produce remarkable results very quickly). ‘Alice’ was written by Randy Pausch – and I figure if we can teach 8 year olds how to produce animation – we should be able to teach people with college degrees how to build their own speech applications – yes?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In a world where marketing dollars and credit is constrained – ‘&lt;a href="http://www.getabby.com/customer_knowledge.jsp"&gt;Customer&lt;/a&gt; Service’ is going to have to be the ‘growth engine’ for a company.
